Dosing Schedules

Dr. James Fadiman, author of the book The Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide: Safe, Therapeutic, and Sacred Journeys has been a prominent, ongoing researcher of Psychedelics since 1963. The Guide provides a slough of practical information, which is why we have chosen to use Dr. Fadiman’s approach as the default dosing recommendation for our Supplements.

The microdosing experience differs for everyone, so we wanted to make sure to include additional schedule options which may work for you and your neurological needs.

If this is your first time microdosing, we suggest starting with your supplements on a low-stakes day (such as a weekend) to observe the psilocybin effects before taking and entering a more public or social situation.

If you wish to gradually increase your dose, listen to your body and brain; increase by one supplement at a time over the course of a week or two.

EVERY THREE DAYS

Dr. Fadiman’s recommended schedule, and the suggested option if taking continuously for a long period.

By spacing out the doses, you not only allow yourself to feel the after effects of the psilocybin, but it helps your body to not build a tolerance to the psychedelic.

FIVE DAY WORK WEEK

The weekends are taken off to recover and baseline.

Ideal for people hoping to see improvements with creativity and productivity; alternatively known as the creative dose. We recommend taking a break every 5 weeks.

Similar to the beginner or Dr. Fadiman’s dose, but instead of having the third day off for potential normalcy you continue with the supplements.

This may cause a quicker tolerance to psilocybin requiring you increase dosage amount.
